What's new in DumpCat 1.4.1

A redesigned point-in-time recovery screen, and release notes one click away from the update notice.

Point-in-time recovery screen

  • A timeline of the job's backups and archived binlogs, with the part that cannot be recovered hatched. Drag it to pick the moment; once checked, the backup that is restored lights up and the binlogs replayed after it are drawn up to the recovery point.
  • The kind of target (point in time, before a GTID, binlog position, latest available) is a segmented choice, with 5 min ago, 1 hour ago and 1 day ago shortcuts for a time. Date and time inputs look like the other inputs.
  • The plan reads as three steps: the backup that is restored, the binlog files replayed (how many, how large, from which file to which) and where the replay stops, in your local time. The restore form shows the same plan when it replays binlogs.
